Why did my Say Cheese ending not trigger? A framing checklist

1. Check who is actually in the photo

Do not judge a photograph only by where the camera points. Another character may still be inside the frame. Compare the intended subjects with the written route; a reaction alone and a reaction together with its cause can lead in different directions.

2. Wait for the relevant reaction

A character being present is not the same as the required event happening. Read the route’s timing instructions, observe the news feedback and compare the corresponding video chapter. Avoid replacing an event cue with a guessed number of seconds.

3. Keep one branch in focus
