What is Say Cheese on Roblox? Story, camera and inspiration
A guide to the real Roblox photography story, its news cycle and its stated inspiration.
A reporter in a park
The developer’s description casts you as a journalist working for Big Media. Your assignment is to turn the park into news, but the story asks whether you will feed panic or look for hope. Mechanical Boy LLC credits Nicky Case’s We Become What We Behold as its inspiration.
Read the feedback, not just the scene
Think of a photo as an editorial choice. Decide whose reaction belongs in the frame, then watch the television before taking another shot. A busy frame can tell a different story from the one you intended. This is why repeatedly clicking is a poor substitute for observing the response.
Use the right guide
This site covers the Roblox story. The similarly named physical mouse puzzle and our separate cheese puzzle have different rules. Start with camera basics, then choose a route instead of treating every ending as the same sequence.
